Getting There Together, NH Community Transportation Action Plan

First Statewide Blueprint to Strengthen Community Transportation Released

New Hampshire Commission on Aging has released Getting There Together, the first statewide action plan proposing coordinated solutions for older adults, people with disabilities, veterans, caregivers, and rural families.

The plan is built on the Community Transportation Needs Assessment (CTNA) the most comprehensive dataset New Hampshire has ever gathered on community transportation. The assessment drew on 2,774 survey responses, 11 focus groups, 72 stakeholder interviews, and 5 public forums, confirming long suspected gaps.

“For the first time, New Hampshire has a unified, evidence driven understanding of our transportation challenges and now we can move forward together,” said Lily Wellington, Executive Director of the State Commission on Aging.
