HCS Friendly Bus

Operated by Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services (HCS) the Friendly Bus provides rides to get groceries, visit friends, attend medical appointments, have lunch at the Friendly Meals – or any activity in the City of Keene.

• Advance Notice: Scheduling a ride is as easy as dialing 603-352-8494. The dispatch office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Communities Served: Keene
• Cost: A donation of $1 for a one way trip is encouraged.
• Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays.
• Ridership Eligibility and New Rider Registration: Adults age 60+. New riders are welcome! Sign up as a new rider by calling the dispatch office at 603-352-8494 and giving your name, address, telephone number and directions to your home.
• Wheelchair Accessible?: Yes

Friendly Bus rides are scheduled on a first come first served basis. The Friendly Bus will pick up and drop off anywhere in the City of Keene, including: shopping, Friendly Meals, drug stores, hair salons, medical facilities, social service agencies, and Keene Senior Center.
