Concord Area Transit

Concord Area Transit is the public bus service in New Hampshire’s capital city of Concord with an intercity bus route connecting travelers to Boscawen, Franklin, Tilton, Belmont and Laconia.

Concord Area Transit provides FREE fixed route transportation Monday-Friday from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm in the City of Concord, New Hampshire. CAT’s three routes are the Crosstown Route, Heights Route, and the Penacook Route.

About Concord Area Transit

Since 1989, Concord Area Transit (CAT) has served Concord area residents and visitors as the public transportation service with regular fixed-route bus service and specialized services for seniors and ADA complementary paratransit service. It provides bus service throughout Concord and surrounding points, including Penacook, Concord Hospital, Downtown, Memorial Field, Fort Eddy Road Plaza, NHTI and Concord Heights. Buses operate Monday through Friday, 6am-6:30pm. No ticket or cash needed as all services are fare free.
